The North Mob started in 1997, when 2 lone female(Elly & Andromeda) met with 3 rover males(Rick, Maxwell, & Tap). In 3 years, the group had grown from 5 to 20. In 1999, new leader Sayana was born. She was a feisty pup, and when she was 3, Andromeda the dominant female passed away. Sayana quickly stepped up. Not long after, her father Rick died. Wild male Northernstar immigrated, and took dominance. For many long years, Northernstar and Sayana led the North mob successfully. Sayana had 8 pups a year for 5 years, 40 children total. Then, tragedy struck. A snake bit Sayana. While she had been bitten once before, she was now in the upper years for a meerkat and passed away 2 days later. Northstar remained with the group. 2 year old Charming immigrated and took dominance. She has not had pups and is not pregnant. Northernstar remains DM by her side, though he has not mated with her yet.
They moved onto Linklu land, but eventually dispersed, looking for more abundant foraging grounds. Now, they've moved into the area and are thriving.
